The ground-breaking photo mosaic station creates amazing digital and physical mosaics from live event photos in real-time; using an exclusive, state-of-the-art algorithm. 

Flip Event’s newest product to the market – The Photo Mosaic – can be used for a wide range of events such as product launches; conferences; exhibition stands; gala events and special occasions.

What is it?

The photo mosaic wall creates a mosaic of an image or logo, using photos taken at an event. Photos are instantly printed in sticker form. Up close you see individual photos taken at the event. Stand back – and the larger image is revealed!

We can provide different sized canvases depending on the number of guests at your event; the duration of your event, and the complexity of your image.

For smaller events i.e. events taking place over one evening – a popular size we use is, for example, 23 x 15 photo mosaic which is 345 photos in total and 120cm (4ft) x 76cm (21/2ft) in size – which we can mount on an easel – or on our modular wall with space for branding around the mosaic grid. This size is great to use for events with a low number of guests or perfect for a wedding. Other popular sizes for larger events (at least 8 hours or over a number of days) are:

Small: 25 x 25 photo mosaic (625 photos)

Medium: 40 x 25 photo mosaic (1,000 photos)

Large: 60 x 35 photo mosaic (2,100 photos)


One, some, or all of the following methods can be used:

1: Photobooths: Our Selfie Mirrors and Photo Pods can seamlessly send the photos taken throughout the event to the mosaic wall. The magic mirror will also send a text to the guest with a digital copy of the photo, as well as print a 6’ x 4’ print.

2: Social Media. By using an event hashtag we can print any images posted to Twitter or Instagram that have been tagged with your event hashtag.

3: Event Photographer. We can provide a photographer and collect the photos direct from the camera – or if your event photographer can provide us with a memory stick of photos they have taken at the event we can use these as part of the mosaic.

4: iPad Selfie Roamers. Our selfie roamer booths can be brought around the venue and guests can use to capture images, boomerang and animated gifs.

5. Selfie Wifi. With our unique selfie wifi guests can connect to our event wifi and upload their photos taken on their own mobile devices.

6. Photo Bank – We can also include photos already taken before the event if required.


As well as creating a printed image that you can keep after the event, we can display and provide you with a digital copy. We can optionally provide you with a screen or screens around your venue to stream the live photo mosaic to guests as the mosaic takes shape throughout the event.

Our wall ‘hosts’ will be on hand to apply the printed stickers to the correct grid location, ensuring that the final mosaic looks as expected. Guests will also want to be involved and place their photo in the correct place!

 A few examples of events at which the Photo Mosaic may be used:

CONFERENCES: The mosaic wall brings your delegates together to create a mosaic of your company logo or event slogan etc. Ideal to position in the area used for tea and coffee stations or in the drinks reception area etc.

EXHIBITION STANDS: The mosaic photo wall is a real talking point at exhibitions, it’s a fantastic way to engage with visitors to your stand. It can also be used as an incentive to drive your social media channels, as people can upload selfies using a hashtag, that will then be used on the mosaic wall.

WEDDINGS: Weddings are a special moment that should be treasured for a lifetime. The mosaic wall is great for capturing memorable moments and transforming them into a stunning mosaic image of the bride and groom. Not only will it be remembered forever, but it is completely unique and adds a loving touch to all weddings.

PRODUCT LAUNCHES: Create a social media buzz around your new product launch. Guests at the product launch are invited to post pictures of them with your new product to social media that are then printed and used to create the mosaic.

What is Selfie Maze?

Essentially Flip Event’s EXCLUSIVE Selfie Maze is an area at your event where guests are encouraged to create fun selfies and videos, and share via various social media platforms, as well as receive their branded print or other form of branded memento.

Depending on budget and space at the venue, Selfie Maze can include three main elements:

(1)  A choice of fun, trendy backdrops to suit the event ( a personal Instagram Selfie Factory!)  – and/or a main posing area with a branded step and repeat  – but can be so much more (think latest trends such as a shining shimmer wall; a fabulous flower wall; neon signs or event branding)

(2) A social media screen – where guests can upload photos and messages via our unique Selfie Wifi.  This can also be used to display the event branding and hashtag etc. and to display photos throughout the event.

(3) A Photo Mosaic – where we build a mosaic of the logo, event slogan, or chosen image – live and in real time – using photos curated at the event and collated from photobooths; roaming ipad booths; photographer and social media.

Selfie Maze can be as small or large as you want – keep it simple with just a couple of roaming ringlight booths and a few fun backdrops such as a ribbon wall; a glitter globe; a Barbie box! – or make it as elaborate as your event dictates and allows – and include all of the elements listed above.

Engagement and Entertainment for guests

A live social media wall provides interactive activity and is a sure way to engage your audience at your event.  Guests enjoy getting involved so they become more engaged with the event, and if you are encouraging the use of a hashtag, the wall is an exceptionally powerful tool. Typically the social media wall will stand 2.5m high and be approximately a 4m curved length with a digital display area 122cm wide x 70cm high – allowing plenty of branding space on either side of the display screen.  This is a guide and can be adjusted to suit space available and the needs of a particular event.

Guests / Delegates at your event are able to upload photos, social media posts and text messages which we collate and send to the live digital display on the wall.

This content can be gathered by one or a combination of the following:

Twitter; Instagram; Text; Email

Magic Selfie Mirror; Ipad Selfie Mirror; Photo Pods; We can gather photos taken on site at our photo booths and send them directly to the wall.

Roaming booths and/or photographer  – We can roam around your event and collect photos – and send directly to the wall.

Photo Mosaic – if a mosaic is being created, we can include these photos on the wall as well.

From guests’ own mobile phones – With our unique selfie wifi guests can connect to our event wifi and upload their text messages and photos taken on their own mobile devices.

All photos and videos can be branded / designed as required. Animated gifs are right on trend, and guests are encouraged to create your branded content that they will want to share!

A combination of all or any of these methods will ensure that guests are engaging and interacting with your brand throughout your event, while at the same time having fun and being entertained.

Data Collection: If you need to collect emails, surveys, or other information from your guests, we can set this up for you via our touch screen photo booths – in a fully GDPR compliant workflow, and provide you with full analysis reporting.

Photo prints and instant on-line sharing fun can be easily integrated for further guest engagement and entertainment. Instantly gratify your guests and send them away from your event with a memento. As well as photo prints, branded photo keyrings; photo globes and magnets are just some of the optional elements which you may wish to consider.

We will agree a “content plan” with you prior to the event and work with you to create all the elements of the wall best suited to your particular event. Our design team will produce drafts in accordance with your event branding, for your approval.

On the day of the event our staff will act as experienced “wall hosts” who will ensure the smooth running of the social media wall, as well as being moderators to ensure that no inappropriate content reaches the display on the wall.
