Terms and Conditions
THE SET UP:
We will discuss with you, any ideas you might have in relation to the style and set up of your Flip Events booth, and any themes or colour schemes you may have. You should state on this booking form, any preferences you may have. However, if you are unsure or have no particular preferences, don’t worry, we will take care of this for you. We give consideration to: a) what works most efficiently in the space and surroundings available; and what is user friendly to guests; b) what looks great in the venue and in the space available to us; c) what fits in with staff/event organisers at your venue, and will not interfere or intrude with any other activities that may be happening at the same time as booth service is taking place.
THE PHOTOS:
If you would like a particular style or theme to be used for the print outs, or a particular photographic background, you should state your preference on this booking form. However, don’t worry if you are unsure or have no preference. Where none is indicated, we will pre-set a random choice of different styles and sizes of photos, and allow guests to choose for themselves while using the booth. We aim to please your guests and send them away happy! Please note that there may be occasions, (though very rare) that the use of green-screening (where required) to create different photographic backgrounds, will not be possible, due to certain lighting or positioning beyond our control during an event, and we will revert to a high quality plain backdrop if we consider it necessary.
THE GUEST BOOK:
Where a memory book is to be used, it will be left for guests’ use, to capture their comments and some of the fun of the booth. We supply gel pens and glue, we will give guests an extra print out and encourage them to use the book, however please note that, although we will endeavour to watch over the book, it is left for specific use by guests themselves, and is used in the spontaneous, fast and fun atmosphere which will exist in and around the photobooth. As such, it should be considered as a memory scrapbook, rather than a professional photo album!
THE PROPS
Unless you specify No Props Required, we will carry a good variety of quality props to all events, consisting of hats, glasses, masks, signs and other items. We do not usually carry inflatables and ‘cheap toy’ props, unless specifically requested. So if you have any preferences or themed props in mind, please indicate on the booking form and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Props and signs can also be branded or personalised on request. A print fee may be incurred in this instance, depending on what exactly is required.
TIMES OF BOOTH SERVICE
For larger events and weddings, or where otherwise agreed beforehand, our packages will include approx. 3 hours service. For weddings, this would normally be from directly after the wedding meal, which is usually around 8 – 8.30pm and will last until around 11 - 11.30pm. These times are approximate and will depend on how quickly your guests use the booth, and we normally find that a natural cut-off point will occur, such as an evening buffet being served, or a disco commencing, It is our aim to work with you and/or event organiser at your venue to best suit the occasion should an event run over time, or be particularly busy. We do not normally operate after midnight.
It is understood that you will make the necessary arrangements with management at the venue for Flip Events to have access for our vehicle to unload, and for our staff to set up and dismantle as necessary and to have sufficient space to provide you with the services agreed. We will also need access to an electrical socket. Staff at most venues will direct us to a suitable space for set-up, so if you have a preference you should arrange with your venue organiser. We carry extra equipment to avoid any break in service at an event, in case of any technical difficulties arising. However, in the unlikely event that should technical issues or breakdowns be unavoidable, and cause a complete stop to photobooth service, we will issue a refund accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse our services during the hire period if we consider guests to be unruly or unreasonable, or if there is any sign of abuse to our staff, or risk of damage to our equipment. However we will always try our very best to resolve any issues with you or your representatives. Deposit is non-refundable. In the case of postponement or change of date or times agreed however, we will do everything possible to try and provide an alternative date if requested and to try and resolve any issues which may arise.

We will be in contact with you during the week leading up to event day to finalise the detail, or contact us any time via facebook, email or telephone/whatsapp to discuss the detail of your booking! Should you not hear from us shortly before event day, please contact us to confirm final arrangements.
